Club Rush

It’s likely that you’ve heard quite a bit about “Club Rush”at Century, but what was it? Club Rush was held on Wednesday, September 20th in the main gym. Club Rush gave students a an opportunity to join a club of their interest.

Some club options included the Drama Club, to bring out your inner broadway star, the Key Club, to get you to help out in the community, and the Gay-Straight Alliance club, to help you learn more about the diversity at Century. Club Rush even advertised a fishing club!

“You can really benefit from clubs by meeting new people and learning new things outside of the classroom.” said Elliot Mott, a Century High School Freshman. Another student, Emely Sandoval, a sophomore at Century who joined DECA this year, said that clubs gives students more time to interact with others.
