Graduation

The class of 2017s graduation was at The Hillsboro Stadium, and there were so many people there to support all of our students. The choir and band started the whole ceremony with their music. Afterwards, Lauren Halverson and Lorenzo Alazas spoke for our students. Mr. Duggan was the selected teacher to give a speech. Lauren and Lorenzo's speeches made everyone a little emotional with their recap of high school. Mr. Duggan of course, decided to end everything off with “One Last Story Time With Duggan,” making sure to fit in a lot of jokes, which made everyone feel happy and nostalgic as they listened for the very last time. As they started giving out diplomas, all the seniors walked down with the biggest smiles on their faces. Nobody could contain their happiness. Everyone had finally gotten the accomplishment they waited 12 years for. There were so many crying families in the crowd. After they gave all the diplomas out, all the graduates stood in the middle and did the famous cap throwing scene. The crowd was cheering as loud as possible for everyone and all their hard work. The weather was cold and rainy but the experience made sitting in the cold and rain worth it.
